Find your Passwords prior to Windows 10 Update (for Windows users only)

MetaQuotes, the program makers of MT4 and MT5, has informed us that on October 2, Microsoft officially released a major update of their operating system Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809). This update affects configurations and encryption keys similar to the installation of a new Windows operating system. Unfortunately, after the installation of Windows 10 October 2018 Update, all passwords of trading accounts stored on your computer might become invalid. It is therefore essential that you locate your trading account passwords and keep them in a safe and accessible place prior to the update. Furthermore, those traders who have purchased products from within MetaTrader Market may have to re-activate the product. Your Backoffice password will not be affected. If you are unable to locate your trading account passwords, you can always reset them in your Backoffice.
